Flat Iron Steak Sandwich

Six ounce, Alberta AAA beef, on toasted ciabatta with peppercorn aioli + firecracker onions, and your choice of fries, classic caesar or mixed greens


  • 6oz Alberta AAA Flat Iron Steak, seasoned with Montreal steak spice, finished with garlic butter
  • One ciabatta loaf, cut in half, toasted and seared with garlic butter
  • Peppercorn mayo
  • Crispy firecracker onions (all-purpose flour + hot sauce, flash fry and season with salt and pepper)
  • Serve with appropriate sandwich side
  • Large rectangle plate

Method of Preparation:

Step 1: Season steak on grill with salt and pepper

Step 2: Cook to desired doneness, brush with garlic butter, season with Montreal steak spice, allow to rest for 1 to 2 minutes

Step 3: Toss sliced onion with hot sauce and flour, fry to crispy, finish with salt and pepper

Step 4: Toast half ciabatta, brush w garlic butter

Step 5: Brush garlic buttered ciabatta with peppercorn mayo, top with crispy onions and steak
