At 19 Okanagan, we have a local first philosophy. We are driven to support local farmers, winemakers and businesses whose quality mindset mirrors our own. Recently we met Claudio Perazzo. He moved his family to Kelowna from Italy in 2015, worked at Valoroso Foods and now has started his own business. It’s called Italian Meat Master. He doesn`t have a store so you have to contact him by phone or email.

Claudio’s story

It`s about dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. The goal of his company is to produce handmade, authentic Italian artisan sausages, using only high quality BC pork meats (hormone and antibiotics free), spices, sea salt and wine. No preservatives, lactose, gluten, fillers, MSG, acidity regulators or other harmful ingredients often used by other makers. His family recipes have been handed down through four generations.

Our 19 Okanagan team was impressed with the flavours and now Meatball Sliders are featured on our Appetizers Menu. Claudio’s sausage with our house made Marinara sauce, baby Arugula + Parmesan dressing on three artisan Foccacia buns. You’re going to love them.
