As you may know by now we are open again as of Friday, May 22nd at 11am. This is a joyful and exciting time, as we have missed our wonderful guests very much and look forward to serving you again. Our team has been busy creating protocol, updating menus, and educating ourselves on best practices. We are ready to welcome you back to 19 Okanagan after 2 long months, and eager to do so.
Our fearless leader Neil Martens, with the help of our management team and under the guidance of WorkSafeBC & the BCRFA, has created thorough protocols to ensure the safety of every guest, staff member, and supplier. For your peace of mind, these new protocols are available to you below to review before dining with us.
Our menu has been updated and revised to ensure prompt service of food and drinks to our guests. We have included our signature dishes, as well as the addition of new and delicious dishes created to be great on our patio or eaten in the comfort of your own home for those that would prefer take out at this time.
For our first day open on Friday, we will not be taking reservations and serving guests on a first come first serve basis. However, our reservations system will reopen Saturday on OpenTable, and you can call us Saturday onwards for reservations as usual. Please note that due to Phase 1 regulation we can take reservations for a maximium of 6 guests.
We strongly suggest making reservations, as this will guarantee a table, ensure you are sat promptly, and minimize the number of people waiting by the entrance. We are operating at 33% of capacity due to our generous spacing between tables, above and beyond the 6ft guidelines set out by the BCRFA and WorkSafeBC. We are fortunate to have a vast patio and covered Summerhouse available for a comfortable and airy dining experience, but we are still at reduced capacity and making a reservation will be very helpful to us to create the safest experience possible.
