Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, company parties and business meetings, large events or small, 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar has the event planning experience, the chef, the atmosphere and location to delight your guests. We promise you the time and attention required to make your event memorable.

Facilities

19 Okanagan Grill + Bar has four areas available for your event. Inside, there is the main room with two fireplaces and we have a small private dining room. Outside, there is a patio and our weather protected summerhouse.

The maximum seating capacity for a reception or dinner is 180, including the patio (weather permitting). We provide a floor plan to help in planning the use of the space available. By the way, the minimum number of guests for booking our summerhouse is eighty (80). ). Full site exclusivity is not available because we always reserve some space for our regular customers.

The weather protected summerhouse, like our restaurant, is completely non-smoking. We do offer a designated smoking area nearby. However, the rules say no smoking within 3 meters of an entrance or exit and no smoking under our covered patio. The entire restaurant both inside and out is handicapped accessible, as are the washrooms.

Food

We offer a special menu for your consideration. Plated Service reflects our casual fine dining specialties. In addition, our chef can customize or personalize a menu just for you, including dishes not on our regular menu. Dietary needs can be accommodated such as vegetarian and gluten free.

We recommend three (3) one hour meetings with our catering/event planner to help you with details. Specifics, including menu and number of guests, must be confirmed four (4) days or 96 hours prior to your event.

Our years of experience with catered events have taught us a few things about looking after your guests. Our buffet service has a server to guest ratio of 1/32. If you would rather have chef attended station service, we can do that too. Our plated service has a server to guest ratio of 1/24. And, for weddings, we offer complimentary cake cutting and service.

Our catering staff costs are included in the final total. Should your event run longer than planned, there will be no additional charge.
One of either 19 Okanagan Owner/Operator Neil Martens or General Manager Praneil Rai will be in attendance to supervise your event.

Drinks

19 Okanagan Grill + Bar is a fully licensed facility so the bar for your event must be handled by us. Bartender service has a bartender to guest ratio of 1/50 and we can certainly arrange to offer cocktails. We have several craft beers on tap and our wine selection is Okanagan Valley strong with a range of prices. Here is our latest Cocktails and Wine list. We have a well-stocked bar featuring an extensive Scotch list. Last call for any private event is always 12:30 AM.

Music

We have a list of DJ’s and Bands for hire in all genres. Outdoor music must be finished by 11:00 PM out of respect for our neighbours. We have a little more leeway when the music is strictly indoors.

Contract

We require a non-refundable (within 30 days) venue fee of $1500.00 for a wedding and $500.00 for other catered events. Any damages to the property or the facility will be dealt with on an individual basis. 19 Okanagan always recycles and we do all the clean-up work for you.
